POLUS TRex
TRex (Transmitter and Receiver Extension) is a key component in the transmission chain, enhancing signal quality for both transmitting and receiving.
With 2 input and 2 output ports, TRex manages two full duplex channels between the cellular Terminal module and the RF boards.
On the transmitter side, it filters signals to reduce intermodulation noise and unwanted emissions, and adjusts signal levels for optimal performance.
On the receiver side, it adapts transmission parameters based on whether it's communicating with the users or scanning nearby radio stations.
All operations are controlled by the SMB board in conjunction with the CPU board's Terminal software, ensuring efficient and precise signal handling.
